Explanation:
Given:
- Base of a parallelogram is twice it's height.
- Area of parallelogram is 392 cm².
To Find:
- What is the meaure of base and height of parallelogram ?
Solution: Let the meaure of height of parallelogram be x cm. Therefore,
➟ Base of ||gm = Twice of height
➟ Base = 2x cm
As we know that:-
★ Area of ||gm = (Base Height) ★
A/q
- Area = 392 cm²
392 = (Base Height)
392 = (2x x)
392 = 2x²
392/2 = x²
196 = x²
√196 = x²
√14 14 = x
14 cm = x
Hence,
➫ Meaure of Height = x = 14 cm
➫ Measure of Base = 2x = 2(14) = 28 cm
