Explanation:

Given:

  • Base of a parallelogram is twice it's height.
  • Area of parallelogram is 392 cm².

To Find:

  • What is the meaure of base and height of parallelogram ?

Solution: Let the meaure of height of parallelogram be x cm. Therefore,

➟ Base of ||gm = Twice of height

➟ Base = 2x cm

As we know that:-

Area of ||gm = (Base \times Height)

A/q

  • Area = 392 cm²

\implies{\rm } 392 = (Base \times Height)

\implies{\rm } 392 = (2x \times x)

\implies{\rm } 392 = 2x²

\implies{\rm } 392/2 =

\implies{\rm } 196 =

\implies{\rm } 196 =

\implies{\rm } 14 \times 14 = x

\implies{\rm } 14 cm = x

Hence,

➫ Meaure of Height = x = 14 cm

➫ Measure of Base = 2x = 2(14) = 28 cm
