\huge\mathfrak{Solution:}

Packet with square base will be cuboid whose length l = 8 cm, breadth b = 8 cn and height h = 13 cm.

Now, volume of cuboid = l × b × h

= 8 × 8 × 13 cm^3 = 832 cm^3

Volume of cylindrical packet = pi × r^2 × h

= 22/7 × (7)^2 × 15 cm^3

= 22/7 × 7 × 7 × 15 cm^3 = 2310 cm^3

Since 2310 > 832, therefore cylindrical packet will hold more powder

Difference between their capacities = (2310 - 832) cm^3 = 1478 cm^3
