Let the altitude of a rectangle be x m.
And, the base of a rectangle be 3x m.
According to question, we get;
1 hectare = 10,000 m*m
Rate of levelling = 25/10000
Cost of levelling = Rs 337.50
Now,
Area of Rect. = Cost/Rate
or, area = 337.50/25/10000
or, area = 337.50*10000/25
or, area = 3375000/25
or, area = 135000 m*m
Therefore,
Area of Rect. = l*b
or, 135000 = 3x * x
or, 45000 = x*x
or, x = 212.13 m
Hence, Altitude of Rect. = 212.13 m
And, Base of Rect. = 212.13*3
= 636.39 m
