30 , 40 & 50 cm are the sides of  right angled triangle where base exceeds height by 10 am and area = 600 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of right  angle triangle = (1/2) Base * height

Height = H

Base = H + 10

(1/2)(H + 10) H = 600

=> H² + 10H = 1200

=> H² + 10H - 1200 = 0

=> H² + 40H - 30H - 1200 = 0

=> H(H + 40) - 30(H + 40)  = 0

=> ( H - 30)(H + 40)  =0

=> H = 30

Height = 30 cm

Base = 40 cm

Hypotenuse = √30² + 40² = 50 cm
