Hypotenuse = 50 cm

Perpendicular = √(50²-48²) = √(50+48)(50-48)

= √(196) = 14

Formula of area of right angled triangle

= 1/2 × base × height

= 1/2 × 48 × 14

= 336 sq.cm Ans
