The volume (V) of a right pyramid with square base of side a=40 cm   vertical height H  is given as

V=\frac{1}{3}(a^2)H

8000=\frac{1}{3}(40^2)(H)  

H=\frac{8000\times 3}{40^2}  

=15cm
