Using pythagoras theorem

H^2 = P^2 + B^2

( 10 )^2 = P^2 + ( 6 )^2

( 100 - 36 ) = P^2

P^2 = 64

P = 8 cm

Area of triangle

= 1/2 × B × H

= 1/2 × 6 × 8

= 6 × 4

= 24sq.cm (d)
