So to to find the area we will have to find the height first

To find height we will use Pythagoras Theorem and find the other side

A² + B² = C²

8² + B² = 10²

B²= 10² - 8²

B² = 100- 64

B²= 36

B= √36

B= 6

Now height is 6 and Base is 8 so area will be

B × H × 1/2

8 × 6 × 1/2

8 × 6/2

8 × 3

24

Hence and ans is 24 square units
