Let the base of triangle = x = side of square

Then

2nd side of triangle = 2x

And Third side is 3x-12

Also Given,

Perimeter of triangle = perimeter of square

So,

x+2x+3x-12 = 4x

6x-12 = 4x

6x-4x = 12

2x = 12

x=6

2x= 12

3x-12 = 3*6-12 = 18-12 = 6

Hence the sides of triangle are 6,6,12cms
