The area of this triangle is 40cm² correct to the nearest 5cm²
Calculate the upper bound for the perpendicular height of the triangle

1/2 × base × height =40 cm²
1/2 × 9 × height = 40 cm²
9/2 × height = 40 cm²
height = 40 cm² × 2/9
          = 8.89 cm
