Here is the step-by-step explanation of your query:-

Given:-

Base of 1st ∆ = 9cm

Height of 1st ∆ = 5cm

Base of 2nd ∆ = 10cm

Height of 2nd ∆ = 6cm

Therefore,

Area of 1st ∆ = 1/2 × 9 ×5

= 45/2cm^2

Area of 2nd ∆ = 1/2 × 10 × 6

= 30cm^2

Ratio,

Area of 1st ∆ 45/2

———————— = ————

Area of 2nd ∆ 30

Area of 1st ∆ 3

-------------------- = --------

Area of 2nd ∆ 4

Area of 1st : Area of 2nd = 3:4 Ans

Cheers

Hope it helps
