The base of a triangle is twice it’s height. If the area of the triangle is 256 sq m, find the base and height of the triangle

½*b*h = area of ∆
½*2h*h = 256
h² = 256
therefore, h = √256
h = 16m.

We know that A = (1/2) * b * h

                        256 = (1/2) * 2h * h

                         256 = h^2

                          h = 16
