the base of a triangle is twice its height. if the area of the triangle is 25cm sq then the base is.

Area of triangle = 1/2 × b× h

Base = 2h

H = height

Area = 1/2 × 2h× h= 25

h ^2 = 25

h = 5 cm

let height be x

so base ll be 2x

now area is 25cm2

area=

 \frac{1}{2}  \times base \times height

on putting value answer ll be 5 cm is height and 10cm is base
