GIVEN :

the base of a triangle = 32 cm

altitude = 45cm

TO FIND :

the area of triangle in m²

FORMULA USED:

Area of triangle =

 \frac{1}{2}   \times base \times altitude

SOLUTION :

To find the area of triangle in m² we will use the formula :-

➮\frac{1}{2}   \times base \times altitude

Where it is given that =>

  • base of triangle = 32 cm
  • altitude = 45cm

--------------------------------------------

to find answer in m² , we will convert 32cm and 45cm in metre.

we know :- 1cm = 1/100 m

therefore , 32 cm = 3/100m and 45cm = 45/100m

-------------------------------------------

➮\frac{1}{2}   \times  \frac{32}{100}  \times  \frac{45}{100}

➮\frac{16}{100} \times \frac{45}{100}

[tex]➮\frac{16×45}{100}

[tex]➮\frac{720}{100}

[tex]➮7.2 m²

ANSWER :

7.2 m²
