Answer: Given that Base b = 3 h [height]

and cost of painting 1960 ₹ = 25₹ per 10 cm^2

=>[Area x 25]/10=1960

=>Area = 784 cm^2

Therefore , 0.5 x b x h = 784

=>0.5 x 3h x h = 784 .......{Given b = 3 h}

=>h=22.8 cm

=>b=68.5 cm

Therefore the base is 68.5 cm and the height is 22.8 cm.

Let, the altitude of the triangular corner table be x(h)

Then, base of the triangular corner table be 3x(b)

Area of the triangular corner table= 1/2 bh

1/2×3x×x

3x²/2 area of the triangular corner table

According to the problem

3x²/2(1/10)×25=1960

x²=456

x=22.8619042733
