Answer:

area= 1/2 x base x height

A=1/2 ×550m×840m

A = 550m×420m

A=231000m^2

Converting m^2 into hectare= 231000/10000

= 23.1 hectare

Cost of reaping=23.1×2500= Rs 57750

Hope it helps!!

The base of a triangular field is 840 m and its altitude is 550 m. Find the cost of reaping the field at the rate of 2500 per hectare.

 \underline{ \underline{{ \huge{ \mathtt{A}}} \sf  {NSWER -}}}

we know that,

 \boxed{ \gray{ \sf{Area  \: of \:  triangle =  \frac{1}{2}  \times base \times height}}}

 \sf \therefore \: Area  \: of \:  triangular \: field =  \frac{1}{ \cancel2}  \times 840 \times  \cancel{550}  \: ^{275} \\  \\  \sf \implies \: 231000 \:  {m}^{2}  \: to \: hectare \\  \sf \implies \: 1 \:  {m}^{2}  =  \frac{1}{10000}  \: hectare \\   \\  \sf \implies \:  \frac{231 \cancel0 \cancel0 \cancel0}{10 \cancel0 \cancel0 \cancel0}  \\  \\  \sf \implies \: 23.1 \: hectare

so,

 \sf \: Cost  \: of \: reaping \:the \: field = Area \: of \: triangular \: field × rate  \\   \sf \implies \: 23.1 \times 2500 \\  \boxed{ \red{ \sf \implies \:  ₹ \: 57750 \:  \:  \: ans..}}
