the base of a triangular field is three times its height if the cost cultivating the field at the rate of 15per meter square is 20250 find the base and the base and the corresponding height of the field

let, height be x
base be 3x



area of trianglular field is = 20250÷15 =1350 metre sq.

area of field =1÷2 × base × height
so, 1÷2×x×3x=1350
then, 1÷2×3xsquare = 1350
3xsquare =1350×2= 2700
x sq. = 2700÷3
xsq. =900
x = underoot 900
x = 30
hence, height = 30 m and base =3×30 = 90m
