Answer:

Let the height of triangular field be =h, then base = 3h

Now cost of per hectare is 36 and total cost =486

so, area of field = 486/36=13.5

we know that area of triangle is 1/2*b*h

therfore, 1/2*3h*h=13.5

h^2=13.5*2/3=9

h= under root 9=3

and base =3h=3*3=9 ans

Step-by-step explanation:

Total cost of cultivating the field = Rs 37800

Rate of cultivating the field = Rs 2800 / hectare

Area of field = ( total cost / rate per hectare ) hectares

                      = ( 37800 / 2800) hectares

                      = (27 / 2) hectares

                      = (27 / 2 x 10000) m²

                      = 135000 m²

let the height of field be x m.

Then its base = 3x m.

Area of field = ( 1 / 2 × 3x × x )m² = (3x² / 2) m²

Therefore, 3x²/2 = 135000 ⇒ x² = ( 135000 × 2 / 3) = 90000 ⇒ x = 300 [under root 90000]

Hence, height of the field = 300 m and its base = (3 × 300) m= 900m.
