The base of a triangular field is three times of its altitude. If the cost of levelling the field at ₹ 25 per hectare is 337.50, find its base and corresponding altitude.​

let altitude be x,

base= 3x

area of field= 1/2× base× altitude= 337.50÷25

1/2×3x×x=13.5 hectare

1 hectare= 10000 m²

13.5 hectare= 135000 m²

3/2 × x²=135000 m²

x²=135000×2/3

x²=90000

x=√90000

x=300 m

3x= 900 m
