Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

  • The base of a triangular field is three times of its altitude
  • Cost of levelling and at the rate of

To Find:

  • The base and the corresponding height

Solution:

Area of the field = Total cost/ rate =337.50/25

=13.5 hectare=135000 m^2

Let height be x m

base=3x m

Formula Used- Area of a = 1/2× base × height

ACQ

1/2× base × height=135000

3x=270000

x^2=270000/3

x=90000=300

Height = 300m

Base= 3x=900m
