The base of a triangular garden is 5 yards longer than the​ height. If the height of the garden is 10 yards then find the area of the garden

let b be the base of the garden and h be the height

b = 4 + h

Area = 1/2 * base * perpendicular height

1/2 * ( h + 4 ) * h = 96

h^2 + 4h - 192 = 0

use the quadratic formula to solve for h and discard the negative value for h
