Nitish1996: Thank for the answer brother but in the option of this question answer days its 40cm square
varid: so check the calculation
varid: but the method would be same
Nitish1996: Where that 16 cm came from
varid: that is semi perimeter
Nitish1996: Herons formula???? What is that??
varid: herons formula √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c). here s=semi perimeter and a,b,c are the sides
Nitish1996: Please make it simple or please use simple formula to solve the problem pleaSe

given bass is equal to 12 CM
to find its area
solution firstly we have to find its remaining side then its height
therefore perimeter of triangle = sum of all side
32 = AB + BC + CA ( BC is base and AB and CA side )
32 = AB + 12 + CA ( CA and AB are congruent because of isosceles triangle theorem)
therefore
32 - 12 = 2 ( AB)
10 = 2(AB)
10/2 = AB
therefore AB = 5 cm
now we have to find half of base of triangle to find height
12/2 = half of base of triangle
6 cm = half of base of triangle
now we have to find its height by Pythagoras theorem
hypotenuse = 5 cm
1st side = it's height
2nd side = 6 cm
therefore (hypotenuse)^2 = (1st side) ^2 + (2nd side) ^2
5^2 = (1st side)^2 + 6^2
25 = (1st side)^2 + 36
therefore
(1st side)^2 = 36 - 25
(1st side)^2 = 9
1st side = √9
1st side = 3 cm
therefore 1st side = height = 3cm

as base of triangle = 12cm
height = 3cm
Area of triangle = 1/2 * base * height
= 1/2 * 12 * 3
= 1 * 6 * 3
= 18
Therefore
Area of triangle = 18 sq.cm or 18 cm^2

hope you will be help please make this answer is brain list
