area of an isosceles triangle=1/2 × b× h
perimeter = 3 × side ( also height)
32 cm = 3× h
32/3 = h
10.7 cm = h
now area = 1/2×12×10.7
= 64.2 cm²

Base=12cm
perimeter=32cm
let equal side be x
x+x+12=32
2x=20
x=10cm
ok
now
semiperimeter (s)=16cm

area=√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

area=√16(4)(10)(10)

area=80cm^2

so area of triangle is 80cm^2
