The base of an isosceles triangle is 12cm and its perimeter is 32cm.find its area

let x be the side

perimeter of an isosceles triangle= base+2×side

12+2x=32
2x=20
x=10

the sides are of 10 cm each

perimeter=32cm
isosceles triangle = 1x + 2x
isosceles triangle= 12 cm
32-12=22cm
22cm÷2= 11 cm
