Ur Answer:-

The perimeter of the triangle will be 36 cm.

Given data

Base of the triangle 16 cm

Area = 48 cm2

Let,height = h cm

According to the formula,

(1/2)xhx16 = 48

hx8 48

h 48/8 6 cm

Let,two equal sides = x cm

Half of the base = 16/2 8 cm

Applying Pythagoras theorem

x = 62+82

x 36+ 64

x = 100

X =100

X = 10

So,the perimeter {(10»2)+16)}cm

= (20+16)cm = 36cm (answer).

hope it helps you..
