Answer:

36 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Area = 1/2 × Base × Height

Given that,

Area = 48 cm²

Base = 16 cm

=> 48 = 1/2 × 16 × Height

=> Height = 48/8

=> Height = 6 cm

Hence, other side = √(8²+6²) = √(64+36) = √100 = 10 cm

Therefore, perimeter of triangle = (10+10+16) cm = 36 cm

Answer:

let h is the height of the triangle

so, 1/2 ×base×height=48

1/2×16×height=48

height=48×2/16=3×2=6

height =6cm

half of the base =16/2cm=8cm

according to Pythagoras theorem,the same two side of the triangle is

√(height^2+half of the base^2)

=√(36+64)

=√100

=10

so the perimeter of the triangle is (10+10+16)cm=36cm
