Let thelength of equal sides be x cm.
Perimeter= x cm + x cm + Base = cm

Ontransposingto R.H.S, we obtain

Ondividing both sides by 2, we obtain

Therefore,the length of equal sides is cm.

the triangle having two angles equal to 45 degree each is called the isosceles triangle ..
two sides of isosceles triangle are equal
2x + 4/3 = 42/15
2x =22/15
x = 11/15
the length of the two sides are 11/15 each
