let two side of isosceles triangles be x
x+x+4 =20 (sum of all sides)
2x+4=20
2x=16
x=16/2=8
Area = a+b+c/2 = 8+8+4/2 = 20/2 = 10
= √(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)
= √(10-8)(10-8)(10-4)
= √2*2*2*2
= 2*2 =4 CM square

jassmine: sorry it will be 4√10
