Here is your answer

First we have to find the altitude,

So, as we know that,

Half of 48 is 24,

Altitude =
 =  {30}^{2}  - 24 {}^{2}  \\  \\  =  \sqrt{(900 - 576)} \\  \\  =  \sqrt{324}  \\  = 18cm
Therefore, Altitude is 18 cm

Now, Area of triangle
 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times b \times a \\  \\  =  \frac{1 \times 48 \times 18}{2}  \\  \\  = 432 {cm}^{2}
Therefore, Area of triangle is 432 cm^2.
