Let the equal sides be x

So perimeter = x + x + 7.9 = 16.7

=> 2x + 7.9 = 16.7

=> 2x = 16.7 - 7.9

=> 2x = 8.8

so x = 8.8/2

=> x = 4.4

Equal side = 4.4 cm
