the base of an isosceles triangle is 8 cm find the area of if the perimeter is 32cm

Answer:

BC=8cm

perimeter=32cm

AB+BC +CA=32cm

but AB=AC

2AB+BC=32

2AB=32-8

2AB=24

AB=12cm

AB=AC=12cm

now find area of triangle

area=48cm2
