the base of an isosceles triangle is of a length 24cm and the other two equal sides are such that the perimeter of triangle is 64cm find the area of the triangle and length of the perpendicular drawn to the from the opposite vertex​

Answer:

Let one of the 2 equal sides be A ,

Now,

2A + 24 = 64

or, 2A = 40

or , A = 20

Again ,

Length of perpendicular =√(20² - 12²)

= √(400 - 144)

= 16 ans❤
