The base of an isosoceles triangle is 24cm and its area is 192sq.cm.Find the perimeter

Area=(base×height)/2

192=(24×h)/2

192=12h

h=192/12=16cm. , let length of each equal side=x cm.
using Pythagoras formula:-

h^2+(base/2)^2=x^2

16^2+12^2=x^2

256+144=x^2

400=x^2

x=20 cm.

Perimeter=20+20+24=64
