\bigstarQuestion :

\longmapsto The base of isosceles triangle 6cm its perimeter 16cm.find its length of each side.

\bigstarTo Find :

\longmapsto Length of each side

\bigstarGiven :

\longmapsto Base = 6 cm

\longmapsto Perimeter = 16 cm

\bigstarRequired formula :

\longmapsto Perimeter of triangle = a + b + c

\bigstarSolution :

Let,

   a and b be x and c = 6

We know that ,

\longmapsto Perimeter = sum of all sides

\longmapsto 16 = x + x + 6

\longmapsto 16 = 2x + 6

\longmapsto 16 - 6 = 2x

\longmapsto 10 = 2x

\longmapsto x = \frac{10}{2}

\longmapsto x = 5

a = b

So,The length of two sides = 5 cm.

\bigstarAnswer :

\longmapsto The length of each side is 5 cm.

More formula's to know :

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)

Perimeter of square = 4a

Perimeter of sphere = 4 × \pi × r²

Perimeter of trapezoid = a + b + c + d

Perimeter of parallelogram = 2 (base × height)

Perimeter of kite = 2a + 2b

Perimeter of rhombus = 4 × a

Perimeter of hexagon = 6 × a
