Let,

   a and b be x and c = 6

We know that ,

$\longmapsto$ 16 = x + x + 6

$\longmapsto$ 16 = 2x + 6

$\longmapsto$ 16 - 6 = 2x

$\longmapsto$ 10 = 2x

$\longmapsto$ x = $\frac{10}{2}$

$\longmapsto$ x = 5

a = b

So,The length of two sides = 5 cm.
