base = 5m \\ hypotenouse = 13m \\ by \: pythagores \: triplet \: we \: get \\ height = 12m \\  \\ therefore \: area \: of \: triangle \:  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times base \times height \\  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 12 \times 5 \\  = 6 \times 5 \\  = 30 {m}^{2}

if base is 5 m and hypotenuse is 13 m then its perpendicular is the square root of 13^2-5^2= square root of 169-25= square root of 144= 12
now,
area of triangle is 1/2* base* height
= 1/2*5*12
= 1/2*60
= 30 m^2
