Assume a right angle triangle ∆ABC,right angled at B

Implies,

AC=10cm and BC=8cm

By Pythagoras Theorm,

AC²=AB²+BC²

»10²=AB²+8²

»AB²=36

»AB=6cm

Now,

Area of the triangle,

1/2×base×height

=1/2×BC×AB

=1/2×6×8

=8×3

=24cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

base = 8 cm hypotenus = 10cm

in trangle ABC angleB = 90degree

by Pythagoras theorem

AC^2 = AB^2+BC^2

10^2= AB^2+8^2

100= AB^2+64

100-64= AB^2

AB^2= 36

AB=6

area of triangle = 1/2×base×height

=1/2×8×6

= 24 cm^2
