the base of right angled triangle measure 48 cm and its hypotenuse measure50 cm find the area of triangle

Hey mate here is ur ans
first step
we get the height
by using Pythagoras theorem
h=root of (50²-48²)=root of (2500-2304)
=root of(196)=14cm
area of right angled triangle =1/2*b*h=1/2*48*14=336cm²

By Pythagoras theorem,

Hypotenuse² = height² + base

Here,

50² = height² + 48²

(50)² - (48)² = Hieght²

2500- 2304 = height²

196 = height²

√196 = height

14 = height

Then,

Area of right angled triangle = (base×height×1/2)



Here,

Area = (14×48×1/2)

Area = 14×24

Area = 336 cm²
