(i) The Base of the parallelogram, b = 10 cm

The Height of the parallelogram, h = 5 cm

The Area of the parallelogram, A = ?

We know that ,

area \: of \: parallelogram \: a \:  = b  \times h

From this ,,,

Area , A = 10 × 5

A = 50 cm^2

The Area of parallelogram, A is 50 cm^2

(ii) The Base of the Triangle, b = 10 cm

The Height of the triangle, h = 5 cm

The Area of the triangle, A = ?

We know that ,

area \: of \: triangle \:  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times b \times h

From this ,,,

Area , A = 1/2 × 10 × 5

A = 5 × 5

A = 25 cm^2

The Area of triangle, A is 25 cm^2
