Given :-

Base of a parallelogram is thrice of it's height.

★ Area of parallelogram = 192 cm²

To Find :-

Base & height of parallelogram.

Solution :-

Let the height of the parallelogram be x cm.

Then, the base of the parallelogram = 3x cm

We know,

Area of parallelogram = Base × Height

Substituting the values, we get

Area of parallelogram = 3x² cm²

According to the question, we can write

192 = 3x²

⟹ x = 8

Therefore,

Base of the parallelogram is 3x or 24 cm.

Height of the parallelogram is 8 cm.

Given ,

  • Area of parallelogram = 192 cm²

  • The base of the parallelogram is thrice it's height

Let ,

  • Height of parallelogram be " x "
  • Then , base = 3x

We know that , the area of parallelogram is given by

 \boxed{ \sf{Area = base \times  height }}

Thus ,

192 = (3x) × (x)

192 = 3(x)²

(x)² = 64

x = √64

x = ± 8 cm

Since , length can't be negative

  \sf \therefore \underline{The  \: base  \: and \:  height  \: of \:  parallelogram  \: are  \: 24 \:  cm \:  and  \: 8  \: cm}
