Answer:

Height=8/√sin (θ)   cm

Base = 24/√sin (θ)   cm

Step-by-step explanation:

In context to the given question;

we have to find the value of base and height of a parallelogram

Given;

Area of a parallelogram = 192cm²

let the height be "h"

Height = h cm

it is given that base is thrice of height

base  = 3h cm

angle  = θ ( angle at which the parallelogram is bent)

Area of a parallelogram = height x base x sin(θ)

putting the values we get;

192 = h x 3h x sin(θ)

by transposing method , we get;

3h² x sin(θ) = 192

h² x sin (θ) = 192/3

h² x sin (θ) = 64

h² = 64/ sin (θ)

h = √64/√sin (θ)

h= 8/√sin (θ) cm

Height=8/√sin (θ) cm

Base = 3h = 3 x 8/√sin (θ) cm= 24/√sin (θ) cm

Base = 24/√sin (θ) cm
