Answer:

Let the Height of Parallelogram = h

Let the Base of Parallelogram = 2h

According to question :

Area = 242 cm²

Therefore :

Base × Height = 242 cm²

2h × h = 242

2h² = 242

= 242/2 = 121

= (11)²

h = 11 cm

Hence

The Height of Parallelogram = h = 11 cm

The Base of Parallelogram = 2h = 2(11) = 22 cm

The base of parallelogram is "22 cm" and height is "11 cm".

Step-by-step explanation:

Let \ the \ height \ of \ parallelogram \ be \ "x".\\and,the \ base \ be \ "2x".\\Area,A=242 \ cm^2\\\\As \ we \ know,\\\\The \ Area \ of \ parallelogram,\\A=base\times height\\\\On \ putting \ the \ values \ in \ the \ above \ formula,we \ get\\\\242=2x\times x\\\\242=2x^2\\\\x^2=\frac{242}{2} \\\\x^2=121\\\\x=\sqrt{121}\\ \\x=11 \ cm\\\\Now,\\The \ height \ of \ parallelogram =11 \ cm\\The \ base \ of \ parallelogram=2\times 11=22 \ cm
