The base of the right angled triangle is 24cm and its height is 7cm find the length of hypotenuse

For this question we should know a formula which is known as Pythagoras theorem

 {height}^{2} +  {base}^{2}   =  {hypotenuse}^{2}

so

 {7}^{2}  +  {24}^{2}  =  {hypotenuse}^{2}

49 + 576 = hypotenuse ^2

625 = hypptenuse ^2

hypotenuse = root 625

= 25 cm

we have to find it by the process

a square +b square = C square

7 square + 24 square = C square

49 + 567 =C square

= C square = 625

= 25 cm
