the base of the triangular field is three times its altitude.If the cost of levelling the field at ₹ 30.50 per sq.meter is ₹7350,find its base and height.

Area = 7350/30.50

⇒ 1/2 × 3a ×a = 735000/3050

⇒ a² = [735000×2]/[3050×3]

⇒ a² = 160 [ approx.]

∴ a = 4√10 = 4 × 3.17 = 12.68

Height = a m  =  12.68 [ approx]

base = 3a m = 3× 12.68 m = 38.04 m
