Given :-

  • The Base radius of a cone is 5 cm.

  • The height of cone is 12 cm.

To Find :-

  • The slant height of cone.

Solution :-

We know, The slant height of cone is I.

I² = h² + r²

Where,

The base radius of a cone is r = 5cm.

The height of cone is h = 12cm.

I² = h² + r²

➟ I² + (12)² + (5)²

➟ I² = 144 + 25

➟ I² = 169

I = 169

I = 13 cm.

The slant height of cone is 13 cm.
