the base radius of a cone is two times the height. it is melted and recasted into cones of same height. how many cones can be made?​

But if it is melted and recasted into cones of same radius and height. then the number of cones formed can be found by area of previous = n into area of the solid after recasting..

Area of previous cone = 1/2b,h, ---> 1/2 into 2h into h. so it becomes h.h or hsquare

now, area of current cone(s)= n.1/2.h.h

So, we get it as------->   h.h=n.1/2.h.h

therefore we get n=2

Therefore we get 2 new cones.
