let the base be 5x and height be 3x
area=1÷2×b×h
43.2=1÷2×5x×3x
43.2=15x^2÷2
86.4=15x^2
5.76=x^2
x=2.4
base=12
height=7.2

hii!!

given that the base and height are in ratio 5:3.

so the base be 5x and height be 3x.

area of the triangle=43.2cm²

→1/2×b×h=43.2cm²

→1/2×5x×3x=43.2cm²

→1/2×15x²=43.2cm²

→15x²=43.2/1×1/2

→15x²=86.4

→x²=86.4/15

→x²=5.76

→x=√5.76

→x=2.4cm

hence base of the triangle=5x

=5×2.4

=12cm

height of the triangle=3x

=3×2.4

=7.2cm

★ verification ★

area of triangle=1/2×b×h

=1/2×12×7.2

=6×7.2

=43.2cm²

hence verified

there's no unit so I wrote cm in the place of unit.

hope this helps..!
