the basic difference is that most plant cells are rectangular and they have a rigid cell wall that surrounds the cell membrane whereas animal cells are mostly round and they don't have cell wall

plant cell .it is a eukaryotic cell present in green plants

Animal cell . it is a typical of the eukaryotic cell enclosed by plasma membrane.

plant cell are larger than animal cell

plastids are present in plant cell but plastid are not present in animal cell

plant cell lacks centrosome and centrioles but animal cell have centrosome and centrioles

veacuoles in animal cell are many , small and temporary but in plant cell vacuoles are permanent and large
