The battle of buxar was defenately turning point which established british as a full fledged authority even got Nizamat and Diwani i.e rule and collect revenue from bengal. The victory over trio - Mughal emperor, Shah Alam II , Ex - Bengal Nawab Mir Qasim and Nawab of Awadh Shuja - ud - Daulah, has raised the reputation or prestage of british ultimately paved the way for colonial expansion.
