Here is your answer:-

\huge{d) \: bhagrirathi \: 1757}

✨ The battle of plassey was took place on the banks of the River Bhaganrathi.

✨ The battle of Plassey was fought between the army of Siraj-ud-Daula and the British under Robert Clive.

✨ In this battle,'Mir Jafar' (commender of Siraj-ud-Daula) cheated and bribed Indian soldier to throw their weapons. And Robert Clive easily won the battle.

✨ After Mir jafar become the new nawab of Bengal and he gifted large sums of money and 24 parganas of Bengal to the British.
But Mir jafar could not fulfil the constant demands of the British. So they installed his son-in-law Mir qasim as the nawab.

✨ Mir qasim granted equal trade facilities to the British and the Indian merchants.

✨This annoyed the British and they attacked him. Mir qasim took refuse at awadh with shuja-ud-Daulah where Mughal emperor, shah Alam, was also taking refuse.
