1.The discovery of the sea route to India is the description sometimes used in Europe and among the Portuguese for the first recorded trip made directly from Europe to India via the Atlantic Ocean HE WAS FROM EUROPE SO IT was started a beginning of this .

3.Divide and Rule" policy is the policy under which the rulers divide people in small groups, so they cannot rebel against the state. These policies were followed by many European states in order to colonize developing or underdeveloped countries. The British used the same policy

The conflicts involved numerous nominally independent rulers and their vassals, struggles for succession and territory, and included a diplomatic and military struggle between the French East India Company and the British East India Company. They were mainly fought on the territories in India which were dominated by the Nizam of Hyderabadup to the Godavari delta. As a result of these military contests, the British East India Company established its dominance among the European trading companies within India. The French company was pushed to a corner and was confined primarily to Pondichéry.
